I am a profesisonal hypnotherapist. Our internal monologue has a profound effect on our entire lives. The messages we receive from other people, on a day-to-day basis, can either reinforce thinking patterns which serve us; or those which get in our way. Hypnosis is a powerful tool. It has helped me re-shape and revitalise my own life. I believe that we have more power over our thoughts than we think. The messages that we get since childhood can negatively impact our understanding of ourselves. I have always wanted to serve and help other people. After discovering that hypnotherapy has helped me deal with my own issues, I decided to get formal training in the subject. In my own experience hypnosis is very effective at managing symptoms of ADHD, depression and anxiety. It also can be very efficient in treating phobias, increasing motivation, impribing self-esteem and confidence, managing pain or weight, and much more. My goal is to pass this knowledge on to my clients, so that they can do this for themselves.
I am a professional pluralistic therapist. I utilise various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, Psychodynamic, Humanistic approaches, Transactional Analysis, Existential therapy, as well as Hypnosis and Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT, similar to EMDR). In this way I encompass work with the conscious mind and subconscious belief system, ‘upgrading’ it in accordance with current clients’ needs. This makes therapy experience comprehensive.
I am also a Couple and Relationship Counsellor. I work with all types of relationships, including LGBTQ+, as well as working with couples where some of partners have mental health issues or neurodivergence. I also help parents with parenting issues and help parents to significantly improve relationships with adult children.
I strongly believe in that each client is unique. I have strong skills to listen to people and hear what they actually mean, and I tailor my sessions based on the unique client’s needs and circumstances. By my first higher education, I hold bachelor’s degree in psychology and cultural awareness, as well as master’s degree in translation. I’ve worked for over 20 years in international corporate environment. It helped me to develop a particular skill to tune into the client's thoughts, feelings and emotions, to read between the lines, and to hear their thoughts rather than words. This also gave me an insight into such psychological phenomenon as “othering”, be it based on culture, age, sex, sexuality, race, or any other minorizing aspects. I am open-minded, and truly believe that people’s identity can’t be boxed in. It also helped me to become empathic and accepting. I love to share these skills with my clients, and I simply love people. The most fascinating journey for me is sharing a journey with my clients towards their personal growth and success.
